Vikings Hoping To Turn Season Around

The Minnesota Vikings came up with a huge win on Sunday in front of a very edgy crowd.  I attended the game and was very impressed by the swarming style of play played by the defense against a pretty lackluster Arizona Cardinals offensive attack.  With Kevin Kolb at the helm, the Cardinals could not get anything going and were not in it for the entire game.  Jared Allen and Brian Robison attacked relentlessly from the edge all day and the secondary finally came up big.  Jamarca Sanford ended up with two picks and Asher Allen also added one to his statistics.  Donovan McNabb was booed lustily by the crowd at some points and threw some very nice bounce passes to his receivers.  At this point, he even knows that his margin for error in the coming weeks is very small and he will have to turn it around soon if he wants to keep the starting job.  With a trip to Chicago on the horizon for next week the Vikings are looking to claw their way back into the NFC North or even the wild card race.

The game will be played on Sunday night in front of a national audience for the first time this year.  Donovan McNabb will be under intense scrutiny throughout the game and will hopefully come up with his best game of the year.  Pending the result of tonight's Detroit Lions VS. Chicago Bears game, the Vikings could be right back in the wild card race.  It has been a tough year so far, but if the Vikings can somehow go on a run, it would be an incredible story to read, and I feel a comeback coming on the horizon.  It is just a gut feeling but I am predicting a nice Vikings run into late December.  We all can only hope.  Back with more on this later in the year!

Skol Vikings!
