Big Ten Football Right Around the Corner

The college football season is right around the corner and that means we are back to the days of rivalry and revelry.  Big Ten football is one of the most contentious in the country and certainly one of the biggest sports times of the year in the Midwest.  People from all over the region gear up to watch their favorite teams maul each other on the gridiron.  Many people believe that the SEC has the most loyal and affectionate fans, and the Big Ten usually gets overlooked.  It won't be after this year.

The addition of Nebraska into the conference just adds another rabid fan base and adequate team to the conference.  The competition this year should be very tight at the top with Wisconsin, Michigan State, Nebraska, and (the sure to be heavily penalized) Ohio State team should all be battling it out for the title.  Even the bottom dwellers, Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota should have adequate squads as well.

Overall, the Big Ten is shaping out to be one of the toughest and most competitive conferences in the country and that should be good drama for the year to come.
